Frequently Asked Questions What size do we need? General formulas we use: Sit Down Dinners: 15 sq. ft. per person Buffet Dinners: 10-12 sq. ft. per person Assemblage: 7-8 sq. ft. per person (Note: The above square footage is for Guests, Table, Chairs and Aisle space. You must allow for Staging, Food Stations, etc.) What sizes are available? At Nevada Tent we have a large selection of Tent Canopy sizes. Starting at 10' wide all the way up to 165' wide. The length of the tent can be virtually as long as you want them. What colors are available? White is our most popular color. Although most colors are available in either solid or stripes. What other accessories are available? Sidewall, Liners, Heating and Cooling, Staging, Tables, Chairs, Linens, Electrical Distribution, Fencing, Fire Protection Packages and much more. Anchoring the Tent or Canopy? We prefer to stake. There are other options available such as Water Barrels and Weight Plates. (Any options other than staking will depend on the size of the Tent and Weather.)   What Permits are required for your tents? Each city has different requirements. The most frequent requirement is a Fire Permit in which Nevada Tent will assist. (Fee Required) Are your Tents Engineered? Most all Tents and Canopies in our Inventory are Engineered to at least 70 mph wind rating. Do you travel outside the Las Vegas area? We travel nationally. How far in advance do we need to order? We ask for as much time as possible. Often not much more than a day or two is possible. We do everything possible to get the proper permitting in time for your event.
